Ingredients
Cream / Milk – 2 -3 table spoons
Butter – ½ cup (At room temperature and not melted – DO not force the temperature but bring it to room temperature) – traditionally vegetable shortening is used.
Powdered Sugar – 1 ½ cups
Vanilla Essence – 2 tea spoons

Method
In a mixer beat the butter until it is soft and now add sugar very slowly and mix until well incorporated
Turn the mixer to medium and mix until all the sugar is incorporated. Be sure to scrap the sides often.
Add 2 table spoons of milk or cream and beat until fluffy. Add more liquid if too dry or add sugar is too watery.
Remove from the mixer and use. Store it in an airtight container in fridge for up to 10 days. If you use shortening, then the shelf life is longer but butter taste best!!!
