Eggless Butter Cookies - Mouth melting

Cookies are a great way to win a kid's heart!!! And I am sharing this for Kid's delight - Sweet Treats for this month's BM. I have tried many types cookies and this cookie is so appealing to the eye and it literally melts in your mouth. These are tiny and cute cookies which I bookmarked from here. We loved these and they are a super hit in my house... One big problem with these delicious cookies are once you try them and you cannot stop with one!!!

Ingredients
All Purpose Flour - 3/4 cup
Corn Flour - 2 table spoons
Icing Sugar - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup
Milk / Cream - 2 table spoons (optional)
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 tea spoon
Salt - A pinch

Method
Sieve the flour, corn flour, cardamom and salt in a bowl
In another bowl, cream together butter and icing sugar until smooth and fluffy. You can do this with a fork or with a hand blender
To the butter and sugar, add the dry ingredients and mix until smooth and lump free. Add little milk if the dough is stiff
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
Line the baking tray with parchment paper
Fill the entire dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe into stars on the baking tray.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cookies become golden at the edges.

  2. A total vegetarian cookie.. I dont allow my kid to eat cakes or cookies on auspicious days and he would try to sneak some without my knowledge... this one should be totally fine
