Tutti Frutti Bread

We are almost finishing the Mega Marathon and only 2 more days to go!!! So many bakes and creations and my bookmarks list have grown sooo much. Today’s recipe is a delicious bread made with tutti frutti. Advantage of making your own bread is adding a few ingredients and also substituting them.. And not to mention the aroma and flavor of freshly baked bread - divine!!!

Sugar - 2 table spoons

Method
In a bowl, add together yeast, sugar and warm water and mix well. Set this aside for about 5 - 10 minutes until it is frothy.
Add milk, butter, salt and vanilla and mix well
In another bowl, add flour, milk powder and mix well
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the liquid ingredients and mix well
Knead it well until it is a smooth dough
Add the tutti frutti and knead it to incorporate well
Grease a big bowl, place the dough inside the bowl and apply some oil on top. Keep this aside covered for about an hour or until it is doubled in size
Knead the dough again and shape it to a loaf
To shape a loaf, press it to a rectangle and fold like folding a business letter
Grease a loaf pan and place the dough inside the loaf pan and cover it loosely and set aside for about an hour
At the end of the rise, preheat the oven to 220 degrees C
Bake it in the preheated oven for about 20 - 30 minutes, until the top is golden and the bread leaves the sides of the pan
If you tap the bottom of the bread, you will hear a hollow sound.
Cool it on the cooling rack completely
Slice it and enjoy!!!
