Tahini is a very delicious paste made from sesame seeds. It makes a delicious and important addition to Mediterranean cuisine.. It is an important part of the hummus.. Parupu Usli
Parupu usli is a very popular dish which is made from dals and green beans. This is served in almost all marriages and functions. This is very rich in nutrients from parupu which is rich in proteins and green beans which is a green vegetable. This one is also very appealing to the eye with green, yellow and red colors. It is a great accompaniment to mor kuzhambu, rasam or sambar. It is very filling as it comes with a lot of protein. Since the grinded dal tastes similar to vadai, we also call this vadaikkari..

Grape Juice–Summer Recipes
One of the easiest and quickest way to get fruits into us is in the form of juice. But when we use the store bought ones, it has the obvious issues of not being fresh, contains preservatives etc.. I always prefer grapes with seed but the issue is the process is longer than the seedless ones.. It is very important to use the skin of the grapes here to get the maximum benefit. I have used honey here, but you can use all sugar also.. This stays good as a concentrate for about a week.. Did not try for longer period as it got over by then…

Today's guilt free recipe is with millets and the cutest millet of all... It is made with Saamai called as the Little Millet.. Idli by itself is a very healthy breakfast.. Now making it even more healthier is by substituting the rice portion with the millets.. I also used the whole black urad dal with the skin. Again making it even more healthier.. Serve it with a spicy chutney and gobble them guilt free.. I made them in mini idli molds and it was so attractive

Then Vadai / Sweet Medu Vadai
Vadai is my favorite deep fried item.. So perfect for tiffin or for breakfast. This is the sweet cousin of the Spicy Medu Vadai. This gets its taste and sweetness from the honey added. You could add more honey if desired. I saw this in a TV show and loved it.. It will be in darker color compared to its spicy cousin due to its sugar content..
