I love shopping for cookware but not for food that I can do at home.. For me if it can be made at home, I would not prefer to buy it.. Most of the times, I see people buying instant stuff, breads, jams, I feel so uneasy like.. One such thing is this fried onions. It is used in a lot of Biryani and gravy preparations.. So Fried onions, as the name says it is frying onions in hot oil and you get it, but yes as simple as it, you could also make it inedible.. Issues that could come are soggy onions, Onions that are charred etc.… Follow simple rules and you get it right.. I got this one from here and I have it done it few times now.. This is for F – Miscellaneous

A collection of recipes that are tried in my kitchen.. All of them are vegetarian (eggless) and some are vegan recipes!!!

Schezhwan Chili Potatoes
Schezhwan Chili potatoes is a Indo Chinese dish. The most common fusion cooking in India is Indo Chinese and this mouth watering spicy dish will make the taste buds tingle. Serve this hot with rice or roti. You could also do this with Paneer or Tofu instead of Potatoes. I did this from a Sanjeev Kapoor Cookbook and am sharing this for BM#25 under Cooking from a book.

Sun Dried Tomatoes, Onion and Olives Tart - Savory Tart
This is the first time I am doing a tart.. I generally thought tarts are made in tart pans with pastry dough, but I was partially incorrect as I should have thought as "Most" tarts are done in a tart pan with a pastry dough. Baking Partners challenge gives me an opportunity to do recipes that I might not really try... This recipe is fairly simple and can get you many rave reviews and lots of wow!!! Most of the ingredients in here are by choice, like onions, olives, cheese, sun dried tomatoes. This recipe is one of the four recipes for this month's Baking partner's challenge announced by Swathi
