Eggless Cornmeal Bread / Buttermilk Cornbread / Eggless Cornbread

Cornbread is a very popular breakfast in the US.. It is made on the skillet or baked in the oven and served as breakfast. It is quite simple to do and very delicious.. I baked this in a 8 inch square dish and the height of the bread was about 1 1/4 inches.. You will get a taller one if you choose a smaller pan. You can also bake these in muffin tins. I got this recipe from allrecipes.com and made a few changes..

Spinach Mini Quiche w easy Crust / Mini Quiche with Crust / Eggless Quiche / Eggless Mini Quiche

Quiche is one of the recipes that I have not tried due to high amount of eggs in it.. Today I am sharing a delicious Quiche which is completely egg free.. So was this easy to do?? Yes and No.. The reason was I did mini quiche in muffin tin which does not have a loose bottom.. So had to research quite a lot to ensure that the base does not crack and also comes out clean.. I used the base recipe from cooks.com and the filling was my own.. The crust was so beautifully flaky and soft which is an interesting texture...

Cinnamon Buns

Cinnamon Buns are a form of quick bread which can be done in less than an hour. They taste best when served warm. Glaze is optional but adds more sweetness and richness to the buns. We have used Buttermilk frosting here. A cinnamon bun (also cinnamon roll, cinnamon swirl and cinnamon snail) is a sweet pastry served commonly in Northern Europe and North America. In Sweden, the cinnamon roll takes the name of kanelbulle (literally: "cinnamon bun") and on October 4, "kanelbullens dag" (Cinnamon roll day) is celebrated in Sweden.

Bagel

Today's bake is a very famous type of bread called a Bagel. I love these with cream cheese.  Bagel is a traditional bread originated from Poland which is shaped by hand into a ring, poached and then baked, The toppings are a personal choice. Common toppings are sesame seeds, poppy seeds and rolled oats. I got this recipe from here. How does a good bagel taste – it should have a crust exterior, chewy interior and will have a light pull.

Buttermilk Biscuits

This is one of the first biscuits I tried.. I remember searching for biscuits recipe and I will always land up in cookies where there were many eggs to begin with.. Then when I searched biscuits without eggs, I landed on this recipe and tried it immediately. The pictures are at least 8 - 10 years old.. So long long ago, so long ago...

Today's recipe is a simple and elegant Pineapple cake which I adapted from my Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake recipe. I made this cake for my husband's birthday.. He prefers single layer cake with frosting.... We loved this cake with refreshing pineapple flavor and aroma.. I frosted the cake with Fresh cream frosting. Another try I made was writing with the sugar syrup... I wrote "Happy B’day" with Sugar syrup and kept it on top of the cake.. It was so crunchy and delicious.
