Show me your HITS–Diabetic Friendly

Having a big list of healthy recipes are a boon and all in one place is so easy and convenient. Events are very helpful to have a collection of recipes related to a theme. I am hosting Sangeetha's HITS (Healthy Interesting Tasty Foods) series and I have "Diabetic Friendly" as the theme. Foods that are diabetic friendly are those rich in protein, low in carbs and fat. Thanks to Sangeetha for letting me host her event for this month.

Event Rules / Details
Event runs from Mar 1 - Mar 31Cook any course of recipe under "diabetic friendly", it can be of any cuisine but vegetarian dishes only. No eggs are allowed. If using egg, then substitute must be mentioned
Use of logo is appreciated as it helps spread the word.
Link to this event announcement page and to the HITS announcement page is mandatory. Simply copy and paste this – " Sending this to HITS – Diabetic friendly and HITS page"
Only 2 Archived entries are accepted as long as they are linked with both announcements.
Multiple New Entries are accepted. More the better.
Please avoid deep fried items and items with lots of sugar
Entries that do not follow the above will be DELETED.
