Mango Halwa (Microwave)

My blog views have crossed 50000 – yayyyyy!!!!!.. Celebrating and thanking you all for your support with a delicious mouthwatering sweet… Mango Halwa is a quick and easy sweet which can be done in less than 30 minutes.  You will get about 12 medium sized pieces. I got this recipe from here. The halwa tastes best when served warm. If it becomes little hard after keeping for a while, microwave for 15 seconds to bring it back to temperature and serve!

Ingredients
Canned Mango Pulp – 2 cups
Salt – A pinch

Ghee – 1 tea spoon + 1 tea spoon
Cashew – 12 pieces (one per each halwa piece) – optional

Method Grease a rimmed plate and set aside.
Heat ghee in a small pan and sauté the cashew until golden and set aside.
In a big microwave safe bowl (with lid) mix together sugar and mango pulp
Microwave this mixture for 20 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. After 20 minutes, stir once again and keep it for 3 minutes
Now add a teaspoon of ghee and microwave for another 30 seconds
Transfer to a greased rimmed plate and allow it to set.
After 30 minutes, cut into pieces and enjoy!
