Almond and Cranberry Whole meal Bread
Quick Breads are a great way to bake goodies which do not take too much time and tastes awesome. I am really excited to share this quick bread for BM #21 with the theme of Cooking with Berries. This one is a healthy bread with no white flour and no white sugar and very less oil. If using dried cranberries, then use ¾ cup and also soak them in the orange juice used in the recipe for 20 minutes to soften. I got this recipe from here and this one is a winner!!!

Cooking Whole Foods–Whole Wheat Flour
I am very happy to be guest hosting Kiran's Cooking With Wholefoods. The ingredient chosen is Whole Wheat Flour. Whole Wheat Flour needs no introduction and is a very healthy and nutritive ingredient. I can think of so many recipes like roti, chapathi, phulka, whole wheat bread, quick breads, desserts, biscuits, festival sweets and snacks, whole wheat pizza, baked goods with whole wheat flour instead of plain flour etc.!!!

Eggless Strawberry Cheesecake
Whenever somebody says Cheesecake, first thing that comes to people’s mind is yummy and creamy and then you get this feeling ok it is little too rich, too much fat, loads of sugar and what not!! A perfect cheesecake is one which is soft, creamy, delicious and not overpowering with sugar. Most of the cheesecakes out there have 2 ingredients that I do not use, one is egg and another is gelatin. Cheesecakes look so tempting and picture perfect. So how about a cheesecake which is not loaded with sugar, which does not make you feel guilty much? The size of this cheesecake is about 6 inches diameter and can be made with ingredients that are in the pantry (other than the fruit).. I am so happy to have this as a part of the blogging marathon - Cooking with Berries

Puttu – Arusi Vella Puttu
Traditional, tasty, long process all adds up to this delicacy vella puttu. This is made during Navarathri Friday or any day on Navarathri. It can also be served as light evening tiffin. This recipe will serve 2 to 3. It is a very long and tedious process and making it step by step will make it easier and more clear. Like many authentic and traditional recipes, small things are also important here and it is such an unforgiving recipe. So give yourself a lot of time and peace when doing this. At least for me, I will not multi task when I am working on this puttu. The taste is just out of the world and is delicious. Have used a lot of tamil words here, (so mentioning the english / hindi words –
Ravai – Sooji / Fine semolina
Veshti - Dhothi / cotton white cloth
Taambaalam - Big Plate
Paahu - Jaggery syrup consistency
