How many times I have admired the cake decorations in the bakery, pictures in magazines.. They look so appetizing and appealing that I would not want to cut the cake!! Such cakes are too beautiful to eat.. And the smooth icing made with chocolate is so smooth and shiny makes us drool.... Then I learnt this very simple frosting recipe and now this is what I recommend to everybody.. If you are not great at getting smooth icing, then this cake will be so ideal for you as the icing is very obedient and it listens a lot to you... This recipe will cover and frost one 9 inch round cake. I decorated my chocolate cake with this ganache frosting and we loved it.. It was picture perfect too…
A collection of recipes that are tried in my kitchen.. All of them are vegetarian (eggless) and some are vegan recipes!!!

Anadama Bread
For this month's HBC (Home Bakers Challenge), we had four breads to choose and I chose this Anadama Bread which was little different style of making than the regular bread and also had the awesome flavor from Molasses. Anadama bread is a traditional yeast bread of New England in the United States made with wheat flour, cornmeal, molasses and sometimes rye flour. The recipe is chosen from here. The original recipe used All purpose flour, but I have tried to make it little healthier by using Whole Wheat pastry flour.
