Brownie - something I crave and love so much. It is a chocolate lover's paradise... I mostly enjoy the gooey brownie as is. I got this recipe from here. The good thing about this brownie, it uses all healthier options like whole wheat flour, brown sugar, canola oil and oats.. Enjoy this delicious and healthier brownie!!! IngredientsWhole Wheat Flour - 1 1/2 cups
Oats Flakes - 3/4 cup
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder - 2 table spoons
Baking Powder - 1 tea spoon
Dark Chocolate - 150 grams
Dark Brown Sugar - 4 table spoons (packed)
Milk - 2 cups
Canola Oil / Vegetable Oil - 5 table spoons
Salt - 1/8 tea spoon
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
Prepare a 8 inch square pan with foil and set aside
Melt the chocolate and allow it to cool completely
Sieve together the flour, oats, salt, cocoa powder and baking powder
In another bowl, whisk together milk, oil and sugar
Make a well in the dry ingredients, and add the liquid ingredients
Fold in gently
Add the melted chocolate and fold it gently
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and tap a few times to escape the air bubbles
Smooth the top and place the pan in the preheated oven
Bake in for 25 - 30 minutes
It will slightly soft at this stage
Place the pan on a rack and allow it to cool completely in the pan
When cooled completely, cut into desired sized squares
Serve as is or with ice cream or whipped cream!!
