Doesn't the name sound delicious? Triple Chocolate Cookies are a simple, quick and tasty cookie. It gets its name from the 3 types of chocolate added. The recipe has white chocolate chips, dark chocolate chips and cocoa powder. I got this recipe from here. This one is a sure keeper and is a big hit with my family.
Ingredients
Butter (softened) – 10 table spoons
Powdered Sugar – ½ cup
All-Purpose Flour – 1 cup
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder – 2 table spoons
Baking Powder – 1 tea spoon
Vanilla Extract – 1 tea spoon
Dark Chocolate Chips – ¼ cup
White Chocolate Chips - 10
Method
Combine the softened butter and the confectioner’s sugar and mix till creamy.
Add in the vanilla extract and mix. Keep aside.
In a separate bowl sift the dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, cocoa powder and baking powder and mix.
Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture a little at a time, mix and incorporate well.
Add in the dark chocolate chips the batter and mix.
Allow the dough to chill the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Pre-heat oven to 300 Degree F.
Line a cookie sheet/pan with foil or parchment paper.
Once out of the fridge, roll out approximately lime-size cookie balls and place them about 3″ apart.
Decorate with a white chocolate chip on top.
Bake in the heated oven for 18 - 20 minutes or until done. Mine took 18 minutes.
Once out of the oven, allow them to cool on the cookie sheet for about 5 minutes and transfer to a cooling rack.
Allow them to cool all the way through and store in an airtight container.
