Ajwain / Omam Biscuit / 50 50

Omam Biscuit is a great tasting biscuit. It reminds of krack jack 50 50… Store this in an airtight container and it comes for at least 15 days. I got this recipe from here.

All-Purpose Flour – 1 ½ cups
Milk – 4 – 6 table spoons

Method In a bowl mix together flour, oil, ghee, ajwain, salt, sugar and curd until the mixture is crumbly in look
Then add the milk and knead it to smooth dough
It should not have cracks. If you think you need more milk (add 1 or 2 tsp to make it smooth).
Roll into a thin layer - thinner the crispier. Then use a cookie cutter of your desired shape and cut it out to biscuits. Prick with fork to prevent puffing up.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and bake these biscuits in a greased baking tray for 13-15 minutes or until the edges of the biscuit starts to turn golden brown in color.

Allow it to cool on a cooling rack completely before relishing or storing in an air tight container..
