Tea Rusk

Tea rusk is a snack that is best when served with hot tea. It can be served immediately or stored in an air tight container for up to 2 months. I got this recipe from here and loved it.. When this is done with the wheat hamburger buns, you get whole wheat tea rusk.

Ingredients
Hamburger buns – 8
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Butter / Margarine – 1 tea spoon

Method
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F
Split open the buns and apply very little butter or margarine
Sprinkle sugar on them
Close the buns
Cut them into 3 which will give 6 pieces per bun
Place them on a baking tray
Bake it in the oven for 60 minutes
Remove from oven
Serve with Tea!
