Tahini is a very delicious paste made from sesame seeds. It makes a delicious and important addition to Mediterranean cuisine.. It is an important part of the hummus.. It is advised to store the tahini is the fridge to avoid spoiling. Also addition of oil is not compulsory, but it gives a creamier texture.
Ingredients
Sesame Seeds - 1 cup
Flavorless Oil - 3 table spoons
Salt - A pinch
Method
Dry roast the sesame seeds until it starts to pop.
To a mixer, add the sesame seeds and salt and grind it to a coarse paste
Now add the oil (a table spoon at a time) and grind it to a smooth paste
The tahini is ready!!

You Tempt me to make this middle eastern condiment...normally I just buy it. Looks simple to make.
