Love the maska chaska biscuits from Krack Jack. When I was making cookies and biscuits at home, I wanted to try and do one similar to maska chaska. When I saw this recipe, it looked very similar and tempting.. I was so happy with the taste and it was so similar.. Try this one if you like masala biscuits or maska chaska
Ingredients
All Purpose Flour – 1 cup
Milk – 3 – 4 table spoons
Oil / Butter (room temperature) – ¼ cup (I used butter)
Salt – ¾ tea spoon
Sugar – 1 tea spoon
Green Chili – 2 (minced very small)
Coriander Leaves – 1 table spoon (minced very small)
Curry Leaves – 1 table spoon (minced very small)
Fennel Seeds – 1 tea spoon
Dried Mint Leaves – ½ tea spoon
MethodIn a mixing bowl, rub flour with butter until it looks like breadcrumbs.
Add salt, sugar, curry leaves, coriander leaves, fennel seeds, dried mint leaves, green chili and milk.
Knead it to stiff dough similar to a chapathi dough.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees C
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and set aside.
Grease the surface and roll the dough thin of about 1/8 inch thickness.Cut with cookie cutter with desired shapes. I used the crinkled pastry wheel and cut into small squares.
Collect the scraps and repeat the process until you are done with the entire dough.
Prick the biscuits with fork to avoid puffing up.
Arrange the biscuits on the baking tray
Bake it in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes. Mine took exactly 15 minutes
Once taken out of the oven, the biscuits are soft, when cooled down they become crispy.
